Just delicious. Have eaten several times and were never disappointed. Were there for the Christmas market in 2019. Very tasty things that you sold at the outdoor booth.

My wife and I have long been regulars. Excellent food also with high quality in terms of ingredients, service always perfect. But now to the reviews of the two "ertert" and Christine Althammer: I just looked at the reviews on google. One evening a few weeks ago, we as guests witnessed very unpleasant behavior by 4 people. After studying the card, they ordered, among other things, 2 wine spritzer. This is shown there as 0.5 l (who can read has a clear advantage). When paying, there was an unspeakable appearance, as they supposedly had only imagined a small wine spritzer and didn't want to pay for the normal one (the gentlemen of the two women were also supposedly at the ATM - to get money). Yes, if you can't afford a big one - then you can't order a big one. As a guest, I sat 3 m away. After the endless absence of these "guests", I turned around and told you to leave. Then the landlady and myself were shown the "middle finger" - what should that tell us? These people can contact me so that I can initiate a corresponding criminal complaint - you are so strong anonymously. At the same time it was said in front of all the guests that they would write a very negative review ......... yes, it would have been better to think about the subject of "self-image and external image" would have been better. I always find it a shame and compromising for others when people with rather poor behavior - flaunt it so openly. In this case I realized again how ridiculous all these "ratings" are. Any such "person" can write anything - no matter whose side is at fault. We are satisfied and grateful that there is such a restaurant and - we will continue to have satisfied regular guests. Oh yes - also on the subject of dogs (no matter how idiotic a review) - we have a big dog that is always welcome ( always looks forward to the crispbread).

Very unfriendly service !!!! After a wine was ordered, the waitress brought a large 0.5l carafe without asking. This is known from non-alcoholic beverages, but with alcoholic beverages it is easy to ask questions. Then we asked if it would be possible to have a glass because you still have to drive. 1st waitress takes the carafe again, then the 2nd waitress rushes out to make it clear to us, very unfriendly, that we have to pay for it. Then we wanted to eat somewhere else and the bill, for which we had to wait a long time. Allegedly no change, forgot the bill ... We four people also perceived this behavior as provocative. Ultimately the worst service in a long time, you could have saved yourself everything with a more accommodating and friendly reaction.
08/01/2020 *** Worst service in a long time *** After I found the food excellent two years ago, I went back to the restaurant with three friends ... This time, unfortunately, a disaster in terms of service. At first we only got the menu from the boss, then the drinks menu on request. After my friends rummaged through the menu, we ordered Pils, Hugo and 2 wine spritzers (including one for me) with a very friendly, blonde waitress. When the drinks were brought, I noticed that the wine spritzer was half a liter. I assumed that a wine glass with wine spritzer would be brought to me. I let her go back because I still had to drive and asked for a smaller wine spritzer. Then the boss PAMPIG came back and asked what the problem with the wine spritzer was. I then described the situation, whereupon she said that she could not take it back because she could throw away the spritzers and not resell them, so we still had to pay for it. In one tone UNDER ALL SAU. Mind you, I was NEVER asked if I want a small or large WS, what you ask in a good restaurant when you already offer 2 different sizes. I never looked at the map, so I couldn't know that there was a big and a small one (I told her that when I said that I should have looked at the map ????) I work in the catering service myself, so it goes without saying that when ordering you will be asked again whether large or small if you do not specify a size? A good restaurant would take the spritzer back and say: "No problem, we would be happy to bring a small one. It was a mistake on our part that we did not ask for the size." But she didn't. Instead, she steamed bitchily after we didn't want to order any more food. My friends only drank the rest of my wine spritzer when we had to pay for them, even though they didn't really want to. At the checkout she was then a long time coming, then disappeared again because she had no more 10 cent pieces, came back ... Then disappeared again for a short time because she accidentally took the bill back with her, then brought the bill back around once again... After paying, we all got up and then she also wanted our contact details, which she was supposed to ask from us at the beginning of the visit and gave us another stupid attack ... I didn't quite understand what exactly she said . CONCLUSION: You don't treat your guests in such a sluggish tone, FIRST OF ALL AS THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT. NO MATTER WHAT IS COMPLAINED. YOU REMAIN FRIENDLY TO YOUR GUEST AT A CERTAIN LEVEL. Thanks never again, they really shit with us with their way. Such a person wants to be a good host.

Difficult with a dog. A small poodle puppy was not allowed to sit on missus' lap (although we were on the terrace anyway), but only on the floor. Rude and not very customer-oriented. We then left the restaurant.
A very cozy tavern with friendly and cordial landlords. Upscale excellent fine and interesting cuisine at reasonable prices, changing creative menu with fresh local dishes. Inviting atmosphere. We were very pleasantly surprised and would love to come back. Highly recommended!!!
A must if you are in Bad Birnbach ... convinced by outspoken friendliness and service ... delicious cuisine regional and seasonal ... We'll be back.
Small nice tavern with friendly service and landlady. This is also the kitchen. The fish duck with lemon risotto and fennel was excellent, the side salad ?fein angeacht.Der char in butter with grapes and almonds still something on top ? Very well done ?
